Maker Movement: During my first summer abroad in Galway, Ireland, I was introduced to the Maker Movement. I had a chance to go to my first maker space, as well as create a useful tool in my classroom.
Understanding Understanding: This website created by myself, looked into the problem of practice that I was facing in my classroom. Through deep research, I was able to come up with a pedagogical and technology shift to help fix this problem.
Reflections: One of the most important part of the teaching profession is the reflection process. Through my blog I was able to try new things, but I was also able reflect on all my experiences as well.
Passion Quotient/ Curiosity Quotient: Taken from the New York Times’ Article “It’s the P.Q. and C.Q. as Much as the I.Q”, my short video asks teachers to use the variety of technologies out there to make students understand the content more deeply.
